Welcome. It is time for you!
Starting the journey to better self, sometimes, takes years or one passing thought. Either way, focusing on processing past traumas and life’s stressors, will make you your best self. Through understanding and wonder, we will see how our past experiences influence daily thinking. Self esteem, confidence, and our ability to push through are all affected by our thinking.
We will create a safe place, in-person or virtually, where you will be able to find comfort and a judgment free space to vent your concerns, anxieties, and thoughts. Life stressors involving relationships, parenting, anxiety, depression, eating disorders, trauma , and more are welcomed to be addressed and treated.
With experience, patience, and a desire to build a strong connection, we can work, together, to identify realistic goals and see progress. I look forward to getting to know you and begin the healing process.

Dance & Movement Therapist, Primary School-Based Clinician, Independently Licensed Clincian
Kaylee Dalaba
MS, LMHC, Registered Dance & Movement Therapist, Reiki Practitioner Level 1
Kaylee is a licensed mental health counselor and registered dance/movement therapist with 10 years of experience working in the mental health field through college practicums, internships, and professional employment. Kaylee has experience working with several populations including: adults with dementia in nursing facilities, neurodivergent children in early learning centers, and adolescents and adults in inpatient and outpatient psychiatric facilities. Kaylee’s approach is best described as “eclectic, somatic, and person-centered” as she believes that therapy should not be a “one size fits all” experience. Kaylee utilizes a combination of expressive arts therapies, EMDR, mindfulness, humor, and traditional forms of talk therapy to meet each client where they are at. Kaylee completed a Master of Science degree in dance/movement therapy and continues to implement evidence-based movement analysis principles in her current work. Kaylee is trained in EMDR, as well as trained at a master level in Usui Holy Fire Reiki. She is also the primary clinician in our school-based collaboration with North Kingstown School District, providing therapeutic services to students within school hours. Kaylee is an accepting, uplifting, and creative clinician who is open to working with all populations and age groups, though her therapeutic style tends to connect more with children, adolescents, young adults, clients seeking alternative ways of processing trauma, and those with neurodivergent minds. Recently, Kaylee has been particularly enjoying welcoming an increasing number of young adults into her scope of practice as she continues expanding on her somatic work.
Please note: You do not need to be a trained dancer or be fully able-bodied to engage in dance/movement therapy. All clients are encouraged to listen to their own bodies and participate as their bodies allow.
Dance/movement therapy is not a dance class, but a therapeutic movement experience that often does not involve structured dance styles.
Dance/movement therapy and other somatic therapy practices are OPTIONAL, as Kaylee does provide traditional talk therapy as well.

Therapy Dogs in Training
Walter, Sage & Aja
Walter is currently our oldest therapy dog in training. He is new to working as a therapy dog, but has been described as “a natural” for his sensitivity to emotions and his calm demeanor. He is particularly good with children and is able to be very patient with them. Outside of work, he enjoys long walks in places he hasn’t sniffed yet, napping next to his sister, and getting lots of love from everyone he meets. His preferred form of payment is treats and belly rubs. Please note: due to his old age, he is not available daily, but is happy to see clients upon request!

Sage is a shy and timid German Shepherd/Cattle Dog mix rescued from down south as a pup. Sage is our youngest therapy dog in-training and has been trained in obedience. For fun, she has participated in nose work classes. Sage loves chasing wildlife, eating treats, taking naps, hiking, giving paw and snuggling. Sage has a special talent for with individuals with anxiety.

Aja is an outgoing and rambunctious Lab Mix, rescued from down south as a puppy, with lots of personality and things to say. Her goal is to one day be a Therapy Dog. She is trained in obedience and has been extensively socialized. For fun, Aja has participated in nose work and scent training. Aja enjoys meeting new people, taking naps, going on hikes, singing loudly, giving kisses, hiking and keeping the office in order. Aja does best with individuals struggling with dissociation or complex trauma histories.
