EMDR

Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) therapy is an extensively researched, effective psychotherapy method proven to help people recover from trauma and other distressing life experiences, including PTSD, anxiety, depression, and panic disorders.

- EMDRIA

EMDR is offered to individuals who have achieved stability post traumatic experience. We do not offer EMDR to individuals actively abusing substances or have active suicidality resulting in hospitalization.

Embodied EMDR

Our unique Embodied EMDR Protocol builds on the phases of EMDR to include techniques developed in Trauma Informed Yoga, Energy Psychology, and other Integrative Treatment Interventions. This protocol is designed to target memories stored in both the body and mind to get to the root experience causing distress.  Sessions for the Embodied EMDR protocol are four hours long once the desensitization and reprocessing phases begin.

Due to the intensive nature of this form of treatment, Embodied EMDR is only recommended by our practitioners after thorough evaluation of the client's ability to; use coping strategies in daily life, and maintain sobriety and  safety in the community.
